my approach + personal work

A Manifesto

I aspire to photograph the truth.
Not the curated version, the one with everyone matching and smiling on cue but the real thing. The authentic life you live, with all of its noise and nuance.
It’s a tiny hand tangled in your shirt while you stir dinner.
It’s marker on the wall and a costume from three Halloweens ago.
It’s the way your laugh softens when it’s just for them.
That’s what I’m here for.
I’m less impressed with perfection and more interested in presence.
In capturing a moment that means something.
This is storytelling photography with heart.
Honest, relaxed, and rooted in connection.
The kind of work that won’t age out of relevance.
So come as you are right now. Bring the chaos. The couch cushions. The glitter glue and mismatched socks. I’ll bring the camera. We’ll make something real.
Scroll down, and you’ll see a few of mine--four babies who grew up faster than I ever expected. These photos?
They’re from the days I’m still holding onto.
Call it lifestyle photography.
Call it documentary.
I call it the only kind worth doing.
Four Kids who aren't so little anymore
My own. My heart.
